This is an incredible product. It provides probably 2-3x the airflow of the best adhesive / bendy strip.The first night after wearing this I did some useful personal writing and took some steps to get over a major depressive episode.The nose bridge did come off the magnets on the first night, so I wish the magnets were a little bit stronger, but fortunately the magnets stuck on my nose so I was able to find it in my sheets and stick it right back on. I understand that the stronger the magnets are the harder it is to take off so the manufacturer is probably doing a trade-off there but I think a little-bit stronger magnets would help.The L1 size fit my large-ish nose just fine, and it is more comfortable and less itchy than the other products in its class.I genuinely love this so much that I’m considering hiring someone for body-modification to implant magnets in my nose. It is expensive but probably worth it.
My 5 year old son suffers from chronic snoring. Made a doctors apt for a sleep study and they are 6 months out. I am very concerned because at times he stops breathing. He always breathing in and out of his mouth. I’ve watched him very closely for hours ( this is my child and very concerned). Did a lot of research and the chin straps seems dangerous and the nose strips seems like they just wouldn’t work. I came across these and gave it a shot. I anted to try something before the sleep test! I put them on my child before bed. Took a little buttering up. Bribed him with ice cream the next day after school. These things work way better then I could have imagined! I might even go as far as saying that he is cured from his chronic snoring. The second he feel asleep I instantly knew it was helping. Checked on him through the night and he was completely breathing only through his nose. He’s never done that from all the times I’ve seen. Still out the mouth here and there but 90% better and I’m not worried that I’m gonna go in and find him unresponsive. This is hands down the best money I’ve ever spent on Amazon and I receive packages almost daily for years! I forgot the mention the small one works well for my 5 year old. The plastic and the magnetic stickers are high quality. Very surprised and highly recommend.
I¡¯ve tried the Breathe Right strips before, but they never really worked for me. I¡¯d always go to bed, and my nose would clog up right away. But this magnetic nose strip has totally changed the game. It keeps my nose open enough so I don¡¯t wake up stuffy, and I can actually breathe through the night. At first, you notice it a bit, but after a while, you totally forget it¡¯s even there. I can definitely see myself using this every night from now on! The only downside is that the sticky adhesive is a bit hard to remove in the morning. Still 5/5 stars.
UPDATED! – The company reached out to me in a very personal way in order to make things right with my purchase, and hear direct feedback to improve customer’s experience in the future. And before you say it, no I’m not changing my review just because they bribed me or coerced me to help them out. As I noted in my initial comments, they do work well once you get the placement right. I didn’t realize that they will do a free consultation with you to make sure the fit and magnetic strip placement is correct. I would HIGHLY suggest taking advantage of this. The directions are pretty clear but talking to them is really worth it. Also, bear in mind if you need the tiny or extra large nose piece you will need to reach out to them and they will send you one since they do not come with the set. Not a huge deal, just be prepared to wait a few extra days if you’re in this situation. I tried breathe right strips after this and they actually gave me a headache because you can not customize the sizing like this product. So that’s another huge bonus and makes the money worth it. All in all they are a small business launching a new product and the aspects below are completely understandable. Their great customer service and want to hear constructive feedback to improve goes a LONG way.READ BEFORE BUYING – – It works fairly well but has a lot of drawbacks you should know about before purchasing. It’s a bit finicky to place the magnetic connector tabs in the correct spot if you’re doing it by yourself in the mirror. I burned through 3 sets before I was able to place them in the right spot. Which isn’t great considering how expensive they are. Price is another issue, while this works once you figure out your nose size and proper placement, it’s pretty expensive all things considered. They also don’t tell you that the starter kit does not come with the smallest and largest nose bracket so be aware. Finally, the adhesive is REALLY tough to wash off your nose. My normal face wash didn’t work, so I had to use rubbing alcohol to get it off which isn’t great for your skin. All in all they work better than the Breathe Right strips, just be prepared for a few drawbacks and extra bucks from your bank account.
I’ve used Intake for 3 nights. I slept soundly all night. I have used nasal strips for a long time. But I didn’t get a restful sleep. I would wake up 4 to 5 times a night with one or both nostrils stopped up. Each time, I would go to the bathroom and come back to bed and lay on my other side. In the morning I felt like I hadn’t slept at all. The Intake nose piece opens my nostrils just enough to allow airflow but without any discomfort. The past 3 nights I have gone to the bathroom once each night and slept good for the rest of the night. It’s like the strips didn’t allow enough oxygen to the brain. I finely feel like I’m getting a good night’s sleep. The only drawback would be the cost of the refills. And it is a bit tricky to get the magnet in the exact spot to get the maximum benefit. But overall, I’m very pleased with the results. Thanks Intake!
